Michael Gallagher, DO, as the Director of Neuro Recovery
Our skilled nursing facility appointed Michael Gallagher, DO, as director of its newly introduced Neuro Recovery Program. Our 200-bed skilled nursing facility located at 255 East Main Street in Moorestown provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
Board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, Dr. Gallagher is affiliated with Cooper University Health Care’s divisions of neurology and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He also serves as the assistant professor of neurology at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
Cambridge’s Neuro Recovery Program is designed to assist the facility’s long-term and subacute populations, specifically those affected by neurologically disabling conditions, in improving abilities and returning to their most-optimal functional levels. The specialized initiative focuses on balance, speech, memory and pain management, as well as swallowing and proper nutrition. Patients receive an individualized recovery plan to address their needs, including a return to more routine daily functions, such as sitting, walking, dressing and showering.
