There are two ways to pay for long-term care: private assets or Massachusetts Medicaid. Residents may also use Long Term Care Insurance to offset costs, though it often won't cover the full amount.

Cambridge offers several room options, each with its own pricing.

Medicaid-eligible residents must contribute their income toward care; Medicaid covers the remainder. Note: Medicaid eligibility differs for community-based services.

  • Physical: Must be assessed as needing 24/7 skilled care.
  • Financial:
    • Assets under $2,000 for a single-person household.
    • Spouses may retain additional assets per Medicaid rules.
    • No disqualifying transfers in the past 5 years (e.g., gifts or property sales below fair market value).

Once private funds are used up and the resident qualifies for Medicaid, we’re here to help. Our team can guide you through the application or connect you with a trusted Medicaid specialist or elder law attorney.

No matter how care is paid for, every resident receives the same high level of care—always.

Yes. Our nurses and certified nurse’s aides are on-site 24/7 to care for and support our residents. Nurses manage medications and treatments, while aides help with daily needs like dressing, bathing, and meals.

We partner with local physicians and specialists who regularly round at the facility. Residents can choose their doctor, and physicians are on call at all times. Our nursing staff stays in constant communication with them to make sure care is timely and thorough.

Therapy is personalized for each resident. After admission, our rehab team evaluates every individual and works with their physician to build a care plan.

We offer physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy—up to 7 days a week. The goal: help each person stay strong, safe, and as independent as possible.

There are no set visiting hours. Guests are welcome anytime, provided visits don’t interfere with resident care or well-being.

Absolutely! Pets are welcome as long as they’re on a leash. The only restriction is the main dining area—but all other shared spaces are open for visits.

Yes! Whether it’s a birthday or a special occasion, we’d love to help. Contact our activities team to plan your event. You’re also welcome to bring your own decorations or treats

We offer complimentary laundry service. Just drop clothes off in a labeled bag at the nursing station, and our housekeeping team will label and return them to the resident’s room. If you prefer to do laundry at home, that’s perfectly fine too.
